The Project was given an official consent on 12 June, by Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri VilasraoJi Deshmukh, in the presence of several cabinet colleagues , on Presentation by Hon Minister Shri Vasant Purke , and Secretary (School Education and Sports) Shri Sanjay Kumar.

1. Mrs Sheila Tiwari, Deputy Director of education, Mumbai, active in the field of Education Management and use of ICT, was wondering for years, how admission process could be in line with the global trends. She was toying with the idea of facilitating application process in Mumbai using ICT and got enthusiastic support from her superiors.
2. Varun Seth , with personal experience of hassles in application process last year , as a management student of NMIMS, wondered, why not think of a solution. He discussed this with a few friends( Sugato Banerji and Urvish Kukreja ) and took Madam Tiwari's guidance to develop a prototype.
3. Prof Jitendra Shah a Consultant in I. T, was invited to create a professional solution . The Project plan was architected, designed and mentored by Prof Jitendra Shah

   • Webaroo Technology India Pvt. Ltd. , Mumbai (with SMS GupShup , an SMS portal)
     and a few others

All the staff of Deputy Director's Office, lead by Mr V S Mhatre, Mr Ahirrao have dedicated themselves to achieve success in the pioneering project. The Education Inspectors , Mr Pawar(North), Mr Bhise(West) and Mrs Suman Shinde( South) have devoted themselves wholeheartedly with their officers.
